Ascension Music presents a guest concert for Women's History Month.

Isabella Leonarda (1620-1704) was one of the first published women composers in Western music. This concert will feature her joyful, dancelike sacred motets for two and three voices and organ.

The program will also include the Suite in D minor from Pièces de clavecin Livre 2 by Elisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre (1665-1729), one of the foremost woman organists and composers of the Baroque.
